The
Stavropol Canning Factory
The
Stavropol Canning Factory , a Russian enterprise with strong traditions
since 1913 is the oldest branch in the company. 20 years ago, the canning
factory was nationalized and transferred to "Gobsovnarhoza",
and later to the senior management of the canning industry. By expanding
and developing manufacturing in 1935, the factory was merged into the
"Veroshilovski" meat enterprise and by 1965 it had evolved
into the "Stavropol Meat Canning Factory" by order of the
RSFSR ministerial council and the minister of the meat industry. .
In 1982 the
canning factory was equipped with high quality, imported equipment.
For the last 20 years the company continued to develop and update manufacturing
equipment, and now produces more than 70 types of products. Factory
output has now reached 50 million units per year. Although using the
most up-to-date equipment fro German firms "Kropp" and "«Blema",
the enterprise has kept the tradition of Russian "know-how"
in making canned food. In March, 2003 new capacities designed for the
preservation of fish production, came into operation and productivity
increased by 20 million units per year.

All production
is from natural products only, and takes place under multilevel state
control in microbiological and physical-chemical laboratories, which
protects the safety and health for consumers.
The Stavropol Canning Factory is a supplier of produce to the Russian
Federation Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Business, Federal
Security of Russia, Russian Emergency Services, etc.
The factory's production is marked by many diplomas, awards and letters
from Russian and international exhibitions, and is also listed in the
